Catalogue entries should describe already existing imagined, speculative, fictional, or unrealized machines for producing, organizing, communicating, visualizing, predicting, or governing knowledge. “Machine” is understood broadly: it may be an apparatus, architecture, interface, system, diagrammatic method, media environment, or conceptual device. However, for the prototype website (MVP), we should focus on entries that function as technical devices within the fictional or speculative universes in which they are posited.
